Tree Aftercare – why is it important?
Controlling weeds around trees can be complex so why bother? Could the weeds give the tree some protection anyway from the sun and wind. The answer to this is NO, weed control is essential. Why? Because the biggest killer of young trees after they have been planted is neglect. Weeds compete for water and nutrients and restrict the young trees growth it is therefore essential that a 1m2 weed free spot around the tree be maintained.
All our staff is correctly trained to ensure the highest standards of workmanship whilst undertaking safe and effective chemical applications. Ashtrees is also able to provide a strimming, mowing and tube removal services in young plantations.
